Please click "Install WebStart" to start installation. Follow the instructions appearing on the monitor to complete the installation steps.

To start the program

For security reasons Firefox does not ever execute programs directly. You have to save the program first on your hard disk, and start it afterwards.

You'll find the settings for saving files by clicking the menu "Tools" -> "Options...". Within "Options" select the tab marker "General". There you'll be able to configure your download settings.

Click "Save File" to save the installation file on your hard disk.

The downloads list can be opened by clicking the menu "Tools" -> "Downloads", if not already opened.

By using the right mouse button, click the entry "JavaWebStart-Setup-Win.exe".

To execute it directly, choose "Open" or, to simply open the containing folder, "Open containing folder".

In latter case execute the downloaded file from the location showing up and confirm the following security request by clicking "Run".

A progress bar attends the installation process. For administrative users this installation step is the last assisted one. A confirmation dialog will finish the installation process.

When being asked for an installation directory click the button "Browse...". Choose the desired target directory and confirm by clicking the button "Install".

You might confirm the installation dialog by clicking the button "Close" once the progress bar shows the information "Completed"

The installation of Java Web Start now has finished. Administrative users will receive a final confirmation.

Start Firefox again and go to the JiveX WebStart site. You can start JiveX via WebStart now.
